New tray sealer alliance signed and sealed
Marco has announced a strategic alliance with packing line manufacturer Ishida. Under the alliance, Marco will supply Ishida's range of innovative tray sealing solutions on an exclusive basis to the soft fruit packaging sector in the UK. It says tray sealing offers a much more efficient and environmentally friendly solution for soft fruit packaging compared with plastic lids.
Ishida's tray sealers have developed from years of close co-operation with both food manufacturers and retailers. The result is a range of high-performance tray sealers with the capability of handling packs of almost any shape or material.
Ishida QX tray sealers deliver high-quality seals (including optional inside cut), are easy to operate and clean and offer significant reductions in film usage for manufacturers.
Marco sees the alliance as an important step in its continued growth in the packaging arena.
By working with leading manufacturers of critical packaging line equipment such as Ishida, Marco is bringing new levels of yield control, waste reduction, line security and packing efficiency to the soft fruit and ready meals sectors, it says.
