Robotic handling modules are designed for packaging lines
Multivac of Germany has developed a range of product handling modules which can perform automated handling tasks at every stage of a Multivac packaging line. The modules consist of a portal, robot, and control unit.
The Multivac handling modules are designed to automate manual tasks in packaging processes in a cost-efficient and hygienic manner. They feature an interchangeable gripper system to give a high level of flexibility and to enable them to handle various types of products and packages. The handling modules can be used for a wide range of tasks including automatic insertion of products into cavities, sorting out flawed packages, unloading and separating packages, and orienting finished packages.
The patent-pending stainless steel portal is designed for thorough sanitation, and can be completely washed down. The open, easily accessible frame profile is designed without indentations or interior corners for especially quick and easy cleaning.
