Process and packaging machinery show to build on 20 years of success
|
Now in its 20th year, the Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) show will take place at the NEC Birmingham from September 30 to October 2, 2008. The event will be officially opened by Sir Digby Jones, now Lord Jones of Birmingham.
This year's exhibition has over 300 suppliers catering for the diverse needs of the food and drink market. The PPMA show remains the 'must attend' exhibition for buyers and users of processing and packaging machinery.
In addition, PPMA show visitors will gain even more benefit from their attendance this year, as their badge will also allow them entrance to the co-located Interplas exhibition. Interplas is the UK's leading exhibition for the polymer sector and incorporates the Inspex feature for the quality control and measurement industries.
According to the British Plastics Federation, around 36% of polymers produced in the UK are consumed by the packaging industry.
Over the following pages we present some of the highlights of the equipment to be seen at The PPMA show 2008.
