Food fears is the latest in a series of publications addressing how to move towards a more sustainable system of food production.

The book, which is written by Canadian academic Dr Alison Blay-Palmer, draws upon recent research into mainstream and alternative food systems and discusses how more local food production could meet consumer needs.

Topics in the book include the separation of consumers from farming and food production, organic agriculture, food scares and community food projects.
