Canadian food processing machinery available in UK
Specialist to the UK food, beverage and packaging industry, the Walsall Engineering Group has been appointed UK sales and engineering partner for food processing machinery manufacturer ABCO of Canada.
With over 30 years' experience in providing food processing solutions, ABCO manufactures a wide range of innovative food processing machinery for fruit and vegetables, seafood, meat, and beverages.
Working closely with the customer, ABCO has custom-designed and built individual pieces of equipment as well as complete integrated processing lines.
ABCO also manufactures blanchers utilising ABCO's energy-efficient heat/hold technology. ABCO's rehydration systems rapidly prepare products such as beans, peas, pasta and rice for canning and packaging in less than an hour. ABCO's range of equipment also extends to energy-efficient cooling systems using single or multi-pass evaporative air as well as counter-current chilled water. This technology is also used for the manufacture of pouch cooling machines for a variety of applications.
A recent development by ABCO uses steam and chilled air to extend the shelf-life and quality of fresh cut fruit and vegetables. ABCO's equipment range is supplemented by food handling conveyors, washers, blenders and platforms.
