Government gets low-down on low carbon message
JET Environmental, specialist in energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems is working with a parliamentary group to promote simple solutions which could significantly cut the carbon footprint of food companies.
Robert Simpson, md, recently met Clive Betts MP, a board member of the All Party Urban Development Group (APUDG), to gain support for technology which is proven to provide a low carbon approach to heating and cooling large areas, such as warehouses and distribution centres. JET Environmental specialises in low-carbon climate-control solutions for large volume industrial and commercial buildings.
Simpson (pictured) said: "Our aim is to ensure people are aware of how they can reduce their carbon emissions when heating and cooling large spaces like offices and warehouses.
"With businesses keen to reduce their carbon emissions, it will be as effective to promote the use of the JET system as it will be to enforce building regulations.
"Companies like JET need the support of government to get the message across."
