The Ech2o technology from Clemas available with the Tennant T3 and T5 pedestrian floor scrubbers means there is no need for chemicals. The technology activates water to perform like a powerful detergent. This provides benefits for the user including cost efficiency, environmental issues and health and safety.

The machine is filled with tap water, the water is then infused with highly oxygenated micro-bubbles to produce oxygenated water which is sent though a water cell where an electric current is applied. The charged water attacks the dirt, breaking it into smaller particles and pulling it off the floor surface. After 45 seconds the charged water loses its charge and reverts to ordinary water. All that is left in the recovery tank is tap water and dirt.

No chemicals are involved and slip and fall accidents are reduced through the elimination of slippery detergent residue. The Ech2o technology also uses up to 70% less water than conventional scrubbing methods.
