Politicians have recognised the role of Britain's food manufacturing sector with the launch of an All Party Parliamentary Food and Drink Manufacturing Industry Group (APPG).
The new APPG, which boasts more than 40 parliamentarians, is chaired by Bill Wiggin, MP. It aims to develop the profile of the UK's biggest manufacturing sector and promote its interests in parliament.
