The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) will save £3.5M in two years, which will be redeployed into front-line services, said chairman John Bridge.

As part of a restructure, AHDB's services would be rationalised to meet the evolving needs of the sectors it served, said Bridge. Changes had to account for the UK food supply chain's security and ability to meet demand, he added.
