Strapping system designed with built-in strapping tools
An improved version of Cyklop's ES600a automatic pallet strapping system, the 720E, now incorporates an integrated friction weld strapping tool which operates from the same battery pack as the strap dispenser.
The tool is supported during the strapping process ensuring that it cannot be dropped and damaged. Improved loading of strap and a redesigned strap sledge further guarantees faster strapping time and increased reliability.
A patented chain lance allows quick and smooth application of strap, with further reduced operator effort as all lance controls are via a joystick. Once the stick is pushed forward, the lance moves at a smooth, constant speed, with a full battery allowing 400 to 1,000 straps to be applied before recharging.
The 700 series is suitable for automatic application of either polypropylene or polyester straps, requiring only one person with no need to bend down to pass the strap through the pallet void. This is crucial given that the most common cause of absence through sickness in the UK is from back pain.
The 700 series can strap a pallet of goods twice in 45 seconds, half the time of manual strapping.
