Homogenise your laboratory samples in just a few minutes
Sample preparation can be a bottleneck in most food laboratories. But there is now an answer from Camlab - the Omni Prep homogenising station. It streamlines the sample preparation process and removes time-consuming and tedious manual steps.
Using proven rotor stator technology, the Omni Prep is a six-station system that combines high throughput with the elimination of cross contamination. It is completely flexible for tube size, sample type and volume. It incorporates timer control, variable speed and variable vertical oscillation to minimise processing time and allow it to handle almost any sample type.
Tough plastic probes can be attached to the system along with the more usual stainless steel tips. The plastic probes are designed for single use to eliminate sample contamination, but they can be cleaned and re-used a few times if necessary.
For one customer, the homogenising station was able to reduce sample preparation from a day to only 30 minutes.
