Fruity flavours keep it sweet
International flavour and savoury ingredients expert, Synergy, has launched a line of sweetness boosters for dairy applications.
The range enhances natural sugar perception, while at the same time delivering an appealing fruit flavour profile, claims the firm. "This allows manufacturers to reduce the added sugar content in dairy products, improve flavour and maintain that all-important clean label," says Synergy.
Labelled simply as 'natural flavourings', the range contains no artificial ingredients, inspiring consumer confidence in the end-product.
The boosters can be used to develop a natural fruit flavour and enhance consumer appeal in a wide variety of dairy products, including yoghurts, dairy desserts, ice cream and flavoured milk.
Working alongside manufacturers, Synergy offers a bespoke service, developing signature flavours to complement particular product tastes.
