Dynamic duo join forces for cold fill sauce solution
Food equipment companies Pursuit Dynamics and Air Products have joined forces to bring manufacturers a new option in cold fill sauce production. They are collaborating to offer the novel PDX Sonic and the Freshline continuous sauce chiller as an integrated single line production unit.
This combined system for cooking and chilling sauces, which operates within the footprint of existing equipment, is said to dramatically reduce processing time while increasing throughput capacity. It can also be retrofitted into existing plant layouts.
As well as providing fast sauce production, the new combined system is claimed to provide additional environmental benefits. These include reduced product waste, repeatable automatic processes, reduced cleaning-in-place/effluent requirements and more efficient energy use.
