Ericsson chairman and outgoing head of Electrolux, Michael Treschow, will take over as non-executive chairman of Unilever from May.
Treschow, from Sweden, is the first person outside Unilever to be appointed to the top job. He takes over from Antony Burgmans, who will retire from Unilever after 35 years.
