Cheddarvision, the webcam that shows slowly maturing cheddar at West Country Farmhouse Cheddar, received 23,500 hits within its first four days.
"Some might say this is the most boring website of 2007, but our cheese is worth waiting for so it's better than watching paint dry - just," said the group's chairman Phillip Crawford.
