Endress+Hauser has introduced the Promag 55S electromagnetic flowmeter for tough metering jobs in food and beverage manufacture. With a high performance transmitter and robust sensor design, it is ideal for fluids with high solids content and abrasive, hot and chemically aggressive liquids.
The Promag 55S offers the right combination of liner material and electrode design to meet the differing demands of the process industries. For example, the hygienic PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) fluoropolymer resin liner with bow electrodes is best for fruit mashes and pulps.
The Promag 55S uses optimised pulsed direct current to give excellent measurement reproducibility, accuracy to within 0.2%, and stability in even the noisiest flow applications.
