Low-cost labeller aimed at high usage
A low-cost label print-and-apply system has been unveiled by Weyfringe. Designed to complement its high volume labelling system range, the DB2 is aimed at users who need to automatically label up to a few thousand products a day.
Weyfringe says it is the first company to incorporate the new H series heavy duty printer from Datamax in a labelling system. Capable of labelling the top or side of products, the Weyfringe DB2 print-and-apply system is ideal for producing ingredient and major retailer barcode labels.
Radio frequency identity tag compatibility can also be specified, providing compatibility with future retailer demands.
The DB2 features a simple control unit allowing the label position on the pack to be quickly set using push button controls, making the system ideal for multiple product labelling.
Available with or without a barcode validation system, the DB2 comes complete with a floorstand and detectors ready to fit to line or, if required,
Weyfringe can also supply the machine complete with conveyors.
