External flushing pipework abolished
US-based Wright Pump has introduced its TRA500 series of sanitary centrifugal pumps for beverages, dairy, confectionery and oils.
Its patent-pending Softsterile seal flushing system eliminates all external piping loops and connections, reducing the possibility of contamination. The heavy-wall, cast stainless steel construction extends service life and minimises vibration and provides low noise and superior performance.
The pumps also offer polished exterior surfaces and 'no weld' inlet and outlet clamp connections on most models.
The TRA500 series can handle capacities up to 210m³/h, pressures to 13 bar and viscosities to 600 centipoise and can be used in temperatures up to 195°C.
