Sausage makers get the cutting edge
Union Food Machinery and Equipment has launched a high-speed sausage cutter. The WT05 cutter can process 1.85m of sausage per second, in any casing, and has the capacity for up to 1,800 cuts per minute.
It offers extremely high levels of reliability and complies with the most exacting food hygiene standards.
The WT05 can take a signal direct from the filling machine and modify its speed in accordance with the speed of the rest of the production line. It is versatile enough for natural, collagen or artificial casings.
The machine can cut in singles, pairs or any specified number. It is simple to operate using an intuitive push-button interface and can be fed manually or automatically.
Sausage diameter can be set between 12mm and 52mm.
A microprocessor co-ordinates and controls all of the machine data. As an option the machine can be fitted with an on-line analysis tool to allow for remote monitoring and improved control.
