Interfood Technology, the distributor of US-based Weber slicers, now offers five models from the Weber range. These start with the entry level 302 designed for those food manufacturers producing average-volume sliced products, through to latest addition, the top of the range 904.

The slicers offer manually loaded options through to fully automated lines, with slicing speeds from 400 cuts to 2,000 cuts per minute.

Weber slicers offer a variety of options, from traditional wafer-thin and stacked portions to new-style presentations such as folded, rotary, rotary wafer-thin, overlapped and staggered pack formats.

In June, Weber opened a new 3,716m2 North American technology centre in Kansas City, extending even further the company's technological expertise. There are now almost 3,000 Weber slicers in operation throughout the world.
