Joint venture set up to produce coated parts
Spare parts and specialist coatings for equipment used in the dairy industry are offered as a result of a new agreement between Moody Direct and the German company, RS Rittel.
The partnership will make use of Rittel's ability to provide coatings -- hard metal and ceramics -- which make components more durable. This reduces equipment maintenance costs and downtime.
The coatings will be offered as standard on a range of parts, including homogeniser pistons, mechanical seals, cams, and valves, and are likely to be of interest to companies in the food and beverage industries as well as those producing dairy products.
