Pizza action
Northern Foods' Green Isle Foods is to invest euros 22.6m at one of its two factories at Naas in County Kildare, Ireland to boost pizza production, mainly under the Goodfellas and San Marco brands, largely for export to the UK.
The extra capacity, which will mean 130 new jobs on top of the 630 there now, will begin production in the autumn. Green Isle said the expansion would raise sales by euros 35m over five years, including euros 23.5m of exports.
