- Published: 02 January, 2009The audience gasped, shocked by what I had just said. But I was blissfully unaware. I was delivering a four-day training course on improving supply chain performance - in French. So I could be forgiven for making the odd grammatical mistake. Except that, in this case, I had said that the business needed to "changer la direction" instead of "changer de direction". One little word; one massive difference. "Your business needs to change direction" is what I intended to say, but "Your business needs to change the management" is how it came out!
