Demise of organic food and ethical labels

This article makes some very valid points. As a UK farmer who has watched the demise of organic food market mainly due to the outrageous claims made by the Soil Association (one of the regulating bodies for organic food in the UK) and having now established a business creating packaging made from farm-produced renewable crops, I have been very disillusioned by the amount of 'green washing' employed by some so called green/ethical businesses for their products. If the green/ethical label busineses are not careful they will face the same fate as the organic food market.
