ACS&T Logistics and Edge Worldwide Logistics (EWL) have formed the global supply chain solution, which conveys frozen cobia from Vietnam. EWL ships these to the UK and brings them to the ACS&T Logistics coldstore and distribution centre at Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. ACS&T Logistics then takes over, handling storage, packing, palletisation and onward distribution.
Sea Products of Scotland, part of Lakeland Group, was the first customer. The service has freed the firm to focus on finding new markets for its fish, rather than managing the complex and lengthy logistics process, saving time, money and resources.
