The firm, which makes own-label frozen potato products for the supermarkets from its factory in Amble, Northumberland, employed 200 staff.
Administrator Begbies Traynor said it was in talks with potential backers for the business but declined to give further details this morning (August 20).
The firm, which formerly traded as Cheviot Foods, was bought out of administration early last year by its management, with additional financial backing from Northumberland County Council, regional development agency One North East and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
