Uplifting ice cream created for secret celeb

Food inventor Charlie Harris Francis, who has previously created glow-in-the-dark ice cream, was forced to sign a confidentiality agreement to prohibit the celebrity being named.

The firm said patients suffering with erectile dysfunction were commonly advised to take at least 50mg of Viagra, the equivalent of two scoops of its new concoction.  

“This was one of the weirder requests we’ve had; to make Viagra ice cream for a party,” ​said Francis. “It was for one of our A-list celebrity clients and they’ve made us sign a confidentiality agreement, so we can’t say much about it.​

‘Very happy with the end result’ ​

Francis, however, did reveal that the Viagra ice cream had the desired effect: “I am allowed to say that they were ‘very happy with the end result’.”​

Not restricted to just making different flavours of ice cream, Francis also uses wacky methods and machines to create the desert itself.

He has previously used a fire extinguisher to create ice cream and created ice cream pottery from a gramophone. Other creations have included a chicken soup made in a washing machine.

Francis grew up on his family’s farm in South Wales with his dad, an ice cream maker, and his mum, a baker and confectionery maker.

He started experimenting with food as a way of combining these two skills to make bespoke ice cream creations.
