Last year United Biscuits delivered its sixth consecutive year of profitable growth, despite continuing turbulent economic and market conditions. It has strengthened and grown its brands, which range from McVitie's, Jacob's to KP Nuts, among others.
As well as investing in its facilities, it has developed the skills of its people, while improving its environmental performance and community involvement. The judges said: "UB presented excellent examples of its achievements, both for the environment and in training."
