Premier Foods appoints new non executive director
Laing will take up the post in October and has more than 30 years’ experience in brand building and communications.
Her CV lists 16 years with Saatchi & Saatchi, twice as chairman of the London office, and culminating in her role as chairman and ceo of Saatchi & Saatchi North America.
Laing ran her own advertising agency, Laing Henry, in the early 1990s, which was subsequently sold to Saatchi & Saatchi.

She is currently a non-executive director of InterContinental Hotels Group and recruitment firm Hudson Global.
Meanwhile, the Food Standards Agency has revealed that Premier Food’s factory was “very unlikely” to be the source of the outbreak of botulism linked to the firm’s Loyd Grossman korma sauce. Three children, all of whom subsequently recovered, were hospitalised in the outbreak last year.
