Food and drink industry people on the move – in September
Premier Foods’ executive director and chief financial officer Mark Moran decided to quit the firm, reportedly after ceo Gavin Darby asked him to commit to at least three more years with the company.
Meanwhile, Nestlé Waters were also tasked with filling a role when executive vice president John Harris announced his decision to retire, after 39 years ago with the business.
Elsewhere, Department of Business, Innovation and Skills director David Frost was appointed as the new chief executive of the Scotch Whisky Association; Dame Lucy Neville-Rolfe joined the board at 2 Sisters and former Greencore chief operating officer Di Walker became executive chair at Karro Food Group.
There were also appointments for cheese-maker Godminster, Food Innovation Solutions, Chr Hansen, Yorkshire Dales Meat Company and the China Food Company.
