The reduced film thickness of the Novatek shrinkfilm range cuts film use and creates less packaging waste. Plus, more film can be wound onto a standard reel, which reduces delivery requirements and attributable transport emissions.
As fewer film deliveries are required, users spend less time on administrative demands such as the need to order film and to process it at goods inwards. They can wrap more units with fewer stoppages for reel changes, maximising packaging line output and reducing downtime.
Bpi.films will also be promoting Supreme RIX12: a multi-layer cast stretchfilm for semi-automatic pallet stretchwrapping machines. It offers all the strength, holding characteristics and performance levels of a conventional 17-micron stretchwrap, but with a film that's only 12 microns thick.
