Manufacturers and packaging suppliers previously baffled by the thinking behind the Starpack Awards can take heart: the categories have been thoroughly rethought in time for the end-of-February deadline for entries.
Gone are the material-specific categories. Instead, innovation and performance will be assessed in 20 categories, of which 11 address design and marketing performance. These include Best Brand Design, Best Food Design, Best Drinks Design, Best Luxury Product, B2B and B2C Transit. The four Technical Innovation categories span Environmental, Consumer Products, Technical Development and Component Developments.
