Nice'n'threesy carton system

08-May-2007

Bradman Lake Group is introducing its Integrated Cartoning System (ICS) to the UK. Described by the manufacturer as a "flexible and advanced solution to top-load cartoning", each unit consists of three modules - to form, fill and close trays and cartons.

This eliminates the need for three separate machines, thus reducing the footprint of the machinery. The machine is capable of forming cartons with or without hinged lids from flat blanks, with lock-style or four-corner glue cartons, and the openings of pre-glued cartons.

Features include lightweight carbon-fibre lock tools, adjustable glue tools, powered hopper and quick size-change facility.

The ICS loading module is available in single, double and triple racetrack formats. It can handle up to 300 cartons per minute, on a single racetrack, and up to 900 cartons per minute on a triple racetrack.
