The CRL is Kliklok's latest product handling innovation and complements its range of end- and top-loading cartoning equipment. It is designed to handle the output from machines such as flow wrappers and to collate and place the wrapped products into cartons or trays.
This development is said to be the first time that Kliklok had worked in collaboration with a robotics company in this area.
The CRL uses a combination of servo motor drives and ABB IRB 360 robotic Flex Picker with 3kg capacity payload. The mono-block design incorporates the infeed, collation, positioning and loading all controlled from a single colour touch screen.
A menu-driven human-machine interface enables easy setting and adjustment of all conveyor speeds, collations and robotic positioning, as well assessing shift data, performance monitoring, on-screen diagnostics and multi-language use.
