More from upstream at Interpack

25-Jan-2008

The April 2008 Interpack event in Germany will see more of a focus on packaging converting equipment and integrated form-fill-seal systems, and more space will be allocated to bakery and confectionery processes.

The show's new official name, 'Interpack - Processes and Packaging', reflects the greater emphasis on packaging materials and materials processing. It also reflects the trend towards shorter runs, shorter supply chains and late-stage customisation. There appears to be more interaction between Interpack and Messe Düsseldorf's other shows, in particular Drupa, the print industry event.

For the first time, Hall 8b will be included in the show, making it the biggest Interpack yet. Packaging machinery relocated to this hall will give more space for bakery and confectionery equipment in Hall 4.

The show will run from April 24-30, 2008 at Messe Düsseldorf.
