High-contrast print is easy to read on polymer

05-Dec-2011

Domino Printing Sciences has launched a black ethanol-based ink for use with its G-Series range of thermal ink jet printers.

The BK107 black ink comprises a host of benefits suited to coding and marking applications within the confectionery and food markets, with good adhesion properties and delivering the high-quality print for greater contrast and readability. It also offers low cost of ownership for users by presenting cost-saving features.

The ink has been formulated so that it is highly resistant to abrasion and deterioration after application to a range of polymer substrates that are used by confectionery and food manufacturers. It is said to eliminate the problem of print deterioration that occurs with many wax-based inks. The ink also delivers high-quality print for a high visual contrast for ease of readability, even at a lower dpi.

The ink comes in a changeable print cartridge that is clean, efficient, reliable and service free.
