After rigorous tests, Serious Desserts has chosen Riggs Autopack to supply 10 single-head depositors for the manufacture of its chilled desserts brand range.
Serious Desserts at Llantrisant, Mid-Glamorgan was set up just over a year ago as part of the Serious Food Group and has already secured orders with major retailers.
The pneumatic depositors work on and off line and are linked to low level hoppers for ease of product loading - essential for the depositing of fresh-cream premium desserts, many of which are in stylish glass beakers or ceramic dishes.
Riggs offers a range of depositors from simple stand-alone or table-top models to fully automated multi-head conveyorised filling lines. They are complemented by a full range of depositing nozzles and decorating heads for cream or fillings.
