The new additions 100% All Steak Pie, Chilli Con Carne Jacket Potato, 100% Cod Fish Finger sandwich and two flavours of hot wrap sandwiches were rolled out across major retailers last month in a bid to target mums, young professionals 'on the go' and students.
The pie is aimed primarily at male consumers, while the jacket potato and Cod Fish Finger sandwich target dieters claiming only 250 and 319 calories respectively. Feasters has produced the range in response to recent focus groups, which revealed consumers' varying demands for food at different times of the day. Feasters has dubbed this trend the '24 hour snack effect'.
Marketing manager for Feasters, Nicola O' Dwyer, says: "As the fastest growing brand in our sector with a 39% market share it's important we keep our products, packaging and online activity fresh, appealing and innovative."
