M&S unveils new Christmas range

The retailer, which is famous for its Christmas food offers, said it had turned sweet treats into “savoury show-stoppers”​ including a Seafood Knickerbocker Glory with layers of prawns, lobster and champagne mousse (260g for £8).

The retailer has also given its party food a makeover with 12 mini versions of Hog Roast on Crackling Plates (£6), 10 Posh Fish Fingers with a Pea Dipping Sauce (£5) and the 12 Three Bird Sausage Rolls for £5.

It has also launched a range of bite-sized breakfast treats including Mini Croissants with Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg (10 at £7) and Mini Bacon Breakfast Cups (10 at £8).

On the snacks front the retailer is offering a range of snacks ranging from the 125g Fire Toasted Tortilla Chips in Dark Chocolate priced at £2 and the 150g Bucks Fizz Sparkle Hand Cooked Crisps at £2.

Associated Seafood​

M&S has also unveiled its range of starters, mains and desserts for customers to use on the big day.

It has focused on a range of fish starters and is working with Associated Seafood, which will produce two signature salmons for its Christmas range. The company will also produce a Smoked Salmon Carpaccio, smoked over whisky cask chips (160g for £6)

There is also a sharing platter with Seabass Cones, Scallops in Shells with White Wine and Pea Sauce and King Prawns on Samphire (670g at £32).

For the main event M&S is focusing on the Pork & Cranberry Oakham Turkey with a Maple Bacon Crown as the centrepiece (2kg for £35 or 2.5kg for £40). Its other wow centrepieces are the Beef Rib with Porcini & Truffle (1.4kg for £50) and Lamb Crown with a Parsnip and Red Wine Jus.(925g for £40).

Vegetarians are also being catered for with a Three Squash Bake (600g for £5).

Inspiration from Tokyo to Paris​

According to the retailer, its experts have scoured the globe “taking inspiration from Tokyo to Paris” ​for its desserts range.

Chocolate is the top pick for the M&S range with its showstopping centrepiece being the Chocolate Pine Cones Filled with Chocolate Truffles. (540g for £12).

Meanwhile, there are a wide range of cheese options including a Cornish Cove Wreath packed with Cranberries and Apricots (110g for £5).
