Aulds Delicious Desserts has joined forces with culinary alcohol supplier Thomas Lowndes to launch a frozen dessert with cognac aimed at foodservice outlets.
The rhubarb and custard tart with Courvoisier is part of a new range of frozen desserts manufactured by Aulds. "The smooth rounded flavour of Courvoisier enhances the taste of the dessert," said Paul Stewart, marketing manager at Aulds.
The product comprises a sweet shortcrust pastry base, layered with rhubarb compote and custard with booze. Other new products within the range include millionaires cheesecake, mandarin & ginger cheesecake, rustic Black Forest gateau and fruit fusion.
