A machine which produces sealed vacuum display packs of meat, fish, or cheese, with the product held firmly on a rigid base, has been introduced by Ulma Packaging.
"The Optima Skin is capable of running film types from various suppliers, a feature which can offer users great savings and drive down the pack cost," says UK director Derek Paterson.
Also new from the company is the TF Supra, a machine which can handle up to a 700-micron base web and is suitable for a range of applications using a semi-rigid or flexible base. This modular device can be supplied in various configurations.
