The United Kingdom Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) has broadened its remit to include companies which deal with imaging techniques other than the traditional visible light/camera combinations. "This is in recognition of the fact that other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum, such as infrared and X-rays, now are being applied to industrial vision tasks," says UKIVA's Jennie Harris.
The Association has many member-companies which serve the food and drink industry.
