The BW128W 28-head weigher, introduced by Bilwinco, has been designed for use in the wet food industry. It is said to meet the demand for complex and flexible integration between weigher and horizontal packaging machines, such as thermoforming equipment and tray sealers.
The unit can be supplied on a mobile height-adjustable support frame to cover different packaging lines with several machines. Mobility also means that cleaning operations can be carried out quickly and efficiently, claims Bilwinco. In fact, the BW128W can be removed from the process line so that the weigher and the packaging machine can be cleaned separately, if desired.
Fresh and frozen food products in portions of 50g to 500g can be handled at a speed of up to 260 portions a minute.
