The P4 GEO has a remote 'teach' option which allows the sensor to learn new features that it may need to inspect -- without connecting to a PC or having to shut down the line.
New inspection instructions are learned in real-time while production is running. A built-in live video image output allows users to view the sensor's inspections, also in real-time, and to view failed inspection images, again without the use of a PC.
The sensor can interface to machines and factory networks via its built-in Ethernet connection, RS 232, or discrete input/output.
