Combined detection and checkweighing
A new combined metal detector and checkweigher will feature as part of a range of end-of-line inspection systems for the food processing and packaging industry that will be displayed by Loma Systems.
The Combination CW3 checkweigher and IQ3+ metal detector machine has a slimline metal detector head, which provides a smaller footprint: ideal for locations where space is at a premium.
The new combination machine can be engineered to suit individual applications and weighs a wide range of flexible and rigid packs of up to 6kg. Units are made in stainless steel and designed to survive even the harshest of manufacturing environments.
Loma will be showcasing two versions of its IQ+ metal detector system for conveyor and pipeline applications.
Complementing the checkweighing and metal detection products, Loma will also show its X4 X-ray inspection system for detecting contaminants such as bone, rubber or plastic, stone and glass.
