Krohne has launched a robust vortex liquid, gas and vapour flow meter which can be cleaned and sterilised in place, making it ideal for food manufacture.
The robust Optiswirl 4070C (above) is designed to cope with tough environments and can measure operating flow, volumetric flow and mass flow of conductive and non conductive materials, even where pressures and temperatures fluctuate.
Said to be highly reliable and simple to use with "plug and play" set-up, the stainless steel housed machine comes with PACTware fitted as standard and a modular design that allows electronics to be removed and replaced easily, minimising costly downtime.
Fitted with Krohne's intelligent signal processing software, it analyses the measurement signal frequency spectrum and identifies the vortex within it. Irrelevant frequencies are then filtered out to leave a precise and stable measurement, says Krohne.
