How horse riding helped food boss in business
This was valuable business he learnt in the saddle when he used to ride horses as a youngster, Jenkins told FoodManufacture.co.uk in this exclusive video.
“Kick on. When I was younger I used to ride horses quite a bit and I always found if you slowed as you came into a fence you ended up in the bottom of the ditch,” he said.
‘I’ll say: kick on’
“My dad used to say to me ‘whatever you do, kick on because if you're going fast enough you’ll either go through it or you’ll end up coming out the other side’ – so that’s the one thing I’ll say: kick on.”
