Two state-of-the-art bottle handling systems have been installed at Arla Foods' new 150M litre dairy in Lockerbie.
The new lines, designed by Midlands based conveyor and system integration specialist, Isoma, take bottles from debagging and filling through to labelling and trolley packing.
Vision inspection and rejection technology ensures newly filled bottles are properly sealed and feature the correct label and bar code, while de-elevator inverters air rinse bottles before filling.
