The cleaner way to boost flavour

03-Oct-2011

Flavour manufacturer Synergy's dairy-boosting range now includes naturally enhancing lactic and brewers' yeast extracts. They aim to aid salt and fat reduction and monosodium glutamate and hydrogenated vegetable protein removal, while promising to maintain depth of flavour.

The firm says it has boosted its products with natural flavouring to solve the challenges of salt reduction and fat enhancement.

Its range includes mouthfeel enhancers, which employ the properties of dairy ingredients such as whey and protein to build flavour and mouthfeel when fat has been reduced. Its premium cheese pastes reduce salt and can be incorporated into processed cheese, ready meals, sauces, pastries, seasonings and soups.

Flavour profiles include butter, dairy and a range of types of European cheese.
