New use for peanut protein flour

01-Nov-2011

As demand for high-protein products continues, food manufacturers are finding new uses for peanut flour - a source of high-quality plant protein, dietary fibre and minerals. Innovative uses include powdered peanut butter and nutritional bars.

High in fibre and protein content, peanut flour provides a source of essential fatty acids, which may reduce cholesterol and decrease the risk of heart disease.
